Glossary I-INFERIOR


Bract
INFERIOR: denotes that the calyx or corolla is free and below the ovary.
INFLORESCENE: the arrangement of grouping of the flowers on a plant; collective blossoms.
INVOLUCRES : a series of bract-like leaves below a cluster of flowers.
